Over the last 20 years we have seen a significant growth in hydro metallurgical refining with an increase in the use of electrowinning refining technology as opposed to the more traditional pyro metallurgical process, also known as electrorefining. MSS has been able to develop our busbar system project designs to work with both electrowinning and electrorefining applications.
MSS is able to design bespoke, cost competitive, electrically efficient busbar systems to individual project requirements working with the plant owner or EPCM contractor as well as interfacing with the rectifier supplier and project suppliers of other key equipment such as the cells and cell top furniture.
