MSS has over 30 years’ experience in working on the supply of busbar systems for Chlorine refineries as well as busbars and other components for chlorine electrolysers. Our busbar systems are primarily used on projects producing:

• Caustic Soda
• Bleaching Agents
• Liquid Chlorin

 

 

The MSS team were involved in the supply of busbar systems and components for the original introduction of electrolysers at scale as a process to produce chlorine products as an alternative to using mercury. We have subsequently worked on many of the world leading chlorine installations over the last 30 years. These projects have included new electrolyser installations as well as technology conversion projects changing over plant process technology from mercury to ‘clean’ electrolyser technology.
